Description

Amlip 10 contains Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and chest pain (angina). By relaxing blood vessels, it improves blood flow, reducing the heart’s workload and helping lower blood pressure. This decreases the risk of strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. It is also prescribed for coronary artery disease and certain types of heart-related chest pain, helping prevent future episodes.

Amlip 10 is usually taken once daily, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Consistent use is important for effectiveness, even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often shows no symptoms.

Common side effects include dizziness, swelling of ankles or feet (edema), fatigue, flushing, and headache. These effects are generally mild and temporary. Serious but rare side effects include irregular heartbeat, severe dizziness, and signs of allergic reaction like rash or difficulty breathing.

People with liver problems or severe low blood pressure should use it cautiously. Avoid alcohol and sudden changes in position to reduce dizziness risk.
