Rosubest 10 mg contains rosuvastatin, a statin medication used primarily to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides in the blood while increasing good cholesterol (HDL). It is commonly prescribed for patients with hyperlipidemia or dyslipidemia, and helps prevent cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks and strokes, especially in individuals at high risk. It works by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which plays a central role in cholesterol production in the liver. Rosubest 10 is also used as part of a long-term strategy including diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes to manage cholesterol levels.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include headache, muscle pain, abdominal pain, nausea, and weakness. Some patients may experience dizziness, constipation, or sleep disturbances. Rare but serious side effects include muscle breakdown (rhabdomyolysis), liver enzyme abnormalities, and kidney problems. In very rare cases, it may cause allergic reactions, pancreatitis, or memory loss. Liver function tests may be required during treatment.
