1. Respiratory infections – such as sore throat, tonsillitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia.

2. Ear infections – like otitis media.

3. Skin and soft tissue infections – such as impetigo or cellulitis.

4. Sinus infections

5. Certain gastrointestinal infections caused by bacteria.

Common Side Effects:

• Nausea or vomiting

• Diarrhea

• Abdominal pain

• Loss of appetite

• Headache

• Mild skin rash

Serious (Rare) Side Effects:

• Allergic reactions (swelling, itching, breathing difficulty)

• Severe diarrhea (possibly due to C. difficile infection)

• Irregular heartbeat

• Liver problems (yellowing of eyes/skin)
