Description

Doo-Clav Syrup is a combination antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid, used primarily in children to treat bacterial infections. It is effective against respiratory tract infections (like bronchitis, pneumonia), ear infections (otitis media), urinary tract infections, skin infections, and dental infections. Amoxicillin kills the bacteria, while clavulanic acid prevents bacterial resistance, making the antibiotic more effective.

The syrup should be taken exactly as prescribed by a doctor, usually with food to reduce stomach upset. The dosage depends on the child’s weight and severity of infection. It’s important to complete the full course even if symptoms improve early to prevent recurrence or resistance.
