Uses of Rabidoc-D Tablet
Rabidoc-D Tablet contains Rabeprazole (a proton pump inhibitor) and Domperidone (a prokinetic agent). It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acidity, heartburn, and regurgitation. It helps in healing stomach and duodenal ulcers, and in preventing their recurrence. By reducing excessive stomach acid and improving the movement of the stomach and intestines, it provides relief from symptoms like bloating, nausea, vomiting, and discomfort after meals. It is also prescribed in acid reflux associated with delayed gastric emptying.

Side Effects of Rabidoc-D Tablet
Most side effects are mild and temporary. Common ones include headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, constipation, abdominal pain, flatulence, dry mouth, and nausea. Some individuals may experience fatigue, rash, or itching. Rarely, serious allergic reactions like swelling of the face or throat and difficulty breathing may occur. Long-term use may lead to vitamin B12 deficiency, low magnesium levels, or an increased risk of bone fractures. Domperidone may rarely cause irregular heartbeat, so caution is advised in patients with heart conditions. If severe or persistent side effects occur, medical attention should be sought promptly.
