Description

Lupin ACEMIZ S Tablet is a combination medicine containing Aceclofenac (100 mg), Paracetamol (325 mg), and Serratiopeptidase (15 mg). It is commonly prescribed for the relief of pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with conditions such as muscle pain, joint pain, arthritis (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis), spondylitis, dental pain, or post-operative pain.

Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen) is an analgesic and antipyretic that reduces pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that helps reduce swelling and promote faster tissue recovery by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation.

Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, heartburn, dizziness, drowsiness, loss of appetite, or diarrhea. These effects are usually mild and temporary. However, prolonged use or overdose may lead to liver damage, kidney issues, or gastrointestinal bleeding.

Precautions: It should be taken with food to reduce stomach upset. It is not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in individuals with severe liver, kidney, or heart conditions without medical supervision. Always use this medication under a doctor’s guidance.
