Description
Uses of ALMOX-CV 625 Tablet
ALMOX-CV 625 is a combination antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid. It is prescribed to treat various bacterial infections by stopping the growth of bacteria and preventing resistance. Common conditions treated include respiratory tract infections (such as sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia), ear infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and dental infections. The addition of clavulanic acid helps in overcoming bacterial resistance, making the antibiotic more effective against a wider range of bacteria. This medicine is usually taken with food to reduce stomach upset and improve absorption. It should be used only under medical supervision and the full course must be completed to prevent recurrence or antibiotic resistance.
Side Effects of ALMOX-CV 625 Tablet
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, and stomach pain. Some people may experience headache, dizziness, or skin rash. Rare but serious reactions include severe allergic reactions (swelling, difficulty breathing), persistent diarrhea indicating possible Clostridium difficile infection, yellowing of eyes/skin (liver problems), or unusual bleeding/bruising. If you notice signs of an allergic reaction or any severe side effect, seek medical attention immediately. Prolonged or repeated use may lead to fungal or secondary bacterial infections. Always follow the prescribed dosage and consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen
