Uses of Cefaprime 250 Tablet
Cefaprime 250 Tablet contains Cefuroxime, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections by stopping the growth of bacteria. Common indications include respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia, ear infections (otitis media), sinus infections (sinusitis), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and certain throat infections like tonsillitis and pharyngitis. It may also be prescribed for gonorrhoea and other susceptible bacterial infections.

Side Effects of Cefaprime 250 Tablet
When taken as directed, side effects are usually mild and temporary. Common side effects include diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and indigestion. Some individuals may experience headache, dizziness, or rash. Rarely, severe allergic reactions such as swelling of the face or throat, difficulty breathing, and severe skin reactions may occur. Long-term or repeated use can sometimes lead to secondary infections like oral or vaginal yeast infections. If symptoms like persistent diarrhoea, unusual bleeding, or severe rash occur, medical attention should be sought immediately
