Description

Chymomerg-A Tablet is a combination medicine that contains Trypsin-Chymotrypsin (a proteolytic enzyme) and Aceclofenac (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug – NSAID). This combination is mainly used to reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with various conditions, particularly after injuries or surgeries.

• Trypsin-Chymotrypsin helps break down proteins at the site of injury or inflammation, thereby reducing swelling and promoting faster tissue healing.

• Aceclofenac works by blocking inflammatory chemicals (prostaglandins), relieving pain and stiffness.

Uses:

• Management of pain, swelling, and stiffness in musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and spondylitis

• Post-operative and post-traumatic inflammation and pain

• Relief in sports injuries, sprains, and muscle strains

• Treatment of swelling and pain in dental, ENT, or gynecological procedures

• Supportive therapy in soft tissue injuries and fracture healing

Side Effects:
Chymomerg-A may cause:

• Common: Stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or indigestion

• Occasional: Dizziness, headache, mild skin rash, or itching

• Rare but serious: Gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcer, severe allergic reactions, liver function impairment, swelling of face or throat

Precautions:
Best taken after meals to reduce gastric irritation. Avoid alcohol and prolonged use without medical supervision. Not recommended in patients with severe liver, kidney, bleeding disorders, or gastric ulcers.
