Description

Cipmol IV is an intravenous formulation of paracetamol (acetaminophen), manufactured by Cipla. It is commonly used when oral administration of paracetamol is not possible, especially in hospital settings.

Uses:

Cipmol IV is primarily used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It is often administered:

• After surgeries to manage post-operative pain

• In high fever when oral tablets or syrups are not suitable

• In patients who are unconscious or cannot swallow

It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins in the brain that cause pain and fever, offering fast and effective symptom control.

Side Effects:
