Clobeta GM Ointment 15gm is a topical medication used to treat various skin conditions, particularly those involving inflammation and bacterial or fungal infections. It contains three main components: Clobetasol Propionate (a potent corticosteroid), Gentamicin (an antibiotic), and Miconazole (an antifungal). This combination helps reduce redness, swelling, itching, and treats or prevents bacterial and fungal infections of the skin.

Uses:
Clobeta GM is commonly used for conditions like eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections (such as ringworm), contact dermatitis, and other mixed skin infections. It is especially effective when inflammation, bacterial infection, and fungal infection are present simultaneously.

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include burning, stinging, dryness, or redness at the application site. With prolonged use or on sensitive areas (like the face or groin), it may cause thinning of the skin, stretch marks, acne, or changes in skin color. In rare cases, systemic absorption of clobetasol can lead to hormonal side effects such as weight gain, fatigue, or high blood sugar, especially if used on large areas or for long durations.
