Description
Doo-Clav 375 Tablet is a combination antibiotic containing amoxicillin (250 mg) and clavulanic acid (125 mg). It is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, sinusitis, urinary tract infections, skin infections, dental infections, and ear infections. Amoxicillin kills bacteria by preventing the formation of their protective cell wall, while clavulanic acid helps overcome bacterial resistance by inhibiting beta-lactamase enzymes.
This tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor, usually with food to reduce stomach upset. Completing the full course, even if symptoms improve, is important to prevent antibiotic resistance.
