Description

DREX-T Syrup is generally a combination cough syrup containing Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Triprolidine Hydrochloride, and sometimes Phenylephrine Hydrochloride. It is used to relieve symptoms of cough, cold, allergies, and mild respiratory tract irritation.

Uses:

• Relief from dry, irritating, or allergic cough

• Reduces runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes caused by allergies or common cold

• Eases throat irritation and mild chest discomfort due to cough

• Helps in nasal congestion relief (if phenylephrine is included)

• Provides symptomatic comfort during seasonal flu or allergic rhinitis

Side Effects:
Most side effects are mild and temporary when taken as directed. Common ones include:

• Drowsiness or dizziness (due to antihistamine content)

• Dry mouth, nose, or throat

• Mild stomach upset or nausea

• Restlessness or trouble sleeping (especially in children if sensitive to decongestants)

Precautions:
