Description

Dulexit 30 Capsule contains Duloxetine 30 mg, a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) used to manage depression, anxiety, and certain types of nerve pain. It works by restoring the balance of natural chemicals (serotonin and norepinephrine) in the brain, which improves mood and reduces pain perception.

Uses

• Treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) – helps improve mood, energy, and overall emotional well-being.

• Management of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) – reduces excessive worry, tension, and restlessness.

• Relief from neuropathic pain associated with diabetes (diabetic peripheral neuropathy).

• Treatment of fibromyalgia and chronic musculoskeletal pain such as lower back pain or osteoarthritis-related pain.

• May also be prescribed for stress urinary incontinence in certain cases (off-label use).

Side Effects

• Common: Nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, fatigue, increased sweating, or decreased appetite.

• Occasional: Blurred vision, insomnia, mild increase in blood pressure, or weight changes.

• Serious (rare): Suicidal thoughts (especially in young adults), liver problems, severe allergic reactions, serotonin syndrome (confusion, fever, muscle rigidity), or abnormal bleeding.

Precautions: Take exactly as prescribed. Avoid alcohol and sudden discontinuation. Inform the doctor of any liver/kidney disease, bipolar disorder, or history of seizures before use.
