Elosone-TF Ointment is a combination medicine containing Mometasone furoate (a corticosteroid) and Fusidic acid (an antibiotic). It is mainly used for treating skin conditions with both inflammation and bacterial infection, such as eczema with infection, infected dermatitis, and certain allergic skin rashes. The corticosteroid reduces redness, itching, and swelling, while the antibiotic controls bacterial growth. It helps relieve symptoms quickly and prevents worsening of skin infections.

Side Effects:
Like all medicines, Elosone-TF Ointment can cause side effects, especially with prolonged or excessive use. Common side effects may include burning sensation, itching, dryness, or redness at the application site. In some cases, skin thinning, stretch marks, or changes in skin color may occur with long-term use. Rarely, allergic reactions such as severe rash or swelling can develop. Overuse on large skin areas or under occlusive dressings may increase absorption, leading to hormonal side effects like weight gain or facial puffiness.
