Esomefol 40 Tablet contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce excess stomach acid. It is prescribed for conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, Zollinger–Ellison syndrome, and to prevent stomach damage caused by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It helps relieve symptoms such as heartburn, acid regurgitation, and difficulty swallowing. Doctors may also recommend it as part of combination therapy for eradicating Helicobacter pylori infection, which can cause ulcers.
