Description

Esomeza DSR Tablet is a combination medicine containing Esomeprazole (a proton pump inhibitor) and Domperidone (a prokinetic agent). It is used to manage conditions related to excess stomach acid and gastrointestinal discomfort by reducing acid secretion and improving stomach emptying.

• Esomeprazole decreases stomach acid production, helping in the healing of ulcers and reducing acidity.

• Domperidone enhances the movement of food through the stomach and intestines, reducing symptoms like nausea, bloating, and a feeling of fullness.

Uses:

• Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and acid reflux

• Management of stomach and duodenal ulcers

• Relief from symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, sour belching, and discomfort

• Treatment of nausea, vomiting, bloating, and indigestion caused by delayed stomach emptying

• Helps in healing esophageal damage caused by prolonged acid exposure

Side Effects:
Esomeza DSR may cause:

• Common: Headache, dizziness, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth, abdominal discomfort

• Occasional: Nausea, vomiting, flatulence, skin rash

• Rare but serious: Irregular heartbeat, severe allergic reactions, low magnesium levels, long-term vitamin B12 deficiency

Precautions:
Take before meals. Prolonged use should be avoided unless prescribed. Patients with liver, kidney, or heart conditions should use under medical supervision.
