Cipla Glimda 1 Tablet contains Glimepiride (1 mg), an antidiabetic medicine used to control high blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. It belongs to the class of sulfonylureas and works by increasing insulin release from the pancreas, which helps lower blood glucose. It is usually prescribed along with a proper diet and exercise routine and may be used alone or in combination with other antidiabetic medicines like metformin.
