Description

GLIMP-M2 Tablet is an oral anti-diabetic medicine containing Glimepiride (2 mg) and Metformin Hydrochloride (500 mg or 850 mg, depending on brand variation). It is prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellituswhen diet, exercise, and single-drug therapy are insufficient to control blood sugar levels.

Uses:

• Helps lower blood glucose levels in adults with type 2 diabetes

• Improves insulin sensitivity and reduces glucose production in the liver (Metformin action)

• Stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin (Glimepiride action)

• Reduces the risk of diabetes-related complications like kidney damage, nerve issues, and vision problems

• Often used as a combination therapy for better blood sugar control

Side Effects:

• Common: Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, headache, dizziness
