Description

KETROYES-DT Tablet contains Ketorolac Tromethamine, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for short-term management of moderate to severe pain. It works by blocking the production of certain natural substances (prostaglandins) in the body that cause inflammation, swelling, and pain. This tablet is usually prescribed after surgery, injury, dental procedures, or other conditions where quick pain relief is needed. Being a dispersible tablet (DT), it dissolves in the mouth or water for faster action, making it suitable for patients who have difficulty swallowing.

Uses:

• Short-term relief of moderate to severe pain

• Post-operative pain management

• Pain due to injury or dental procedures

• Musculoskeletal pain (sprains, strains)

Side Effects:

• Common: Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, dizziness, headache

• Gastrointestinal: Diarrhea, constipation, gas, heartburn; in rare cases, ulcers or bleeding

• Serious (seek medical attention): Shortness of breath, swelling of face or throat, severe stomach pain, black/tarry stools, chest pain

• Others: Drowsiness, blurred vision, rash

KETROYES-DT is not meant for long-term use and should be taken only as prescribed, as prolonged or high-dose use may increase the risk of kidney damage, stomach bleeding, or heart problems. Avoid alcohol and other NSAIDs during treatment.
