Description

Cipla Lipvas 40 is a medicine that contains atorvastatin (40 mg), used to lower cholesterol levels in the blood. It belongs to a class of drugs called statins, which work by blocking an enzyme needed to make cholesterol in the liver. This helps reduce “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides, while increasing “good” cholesterol (HDL). Lipvas 40 is commonly prescribed to prevent heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular problems in patients with high cholesterol, diabetes, or a history of heart disease.
