Description

NAPROXIYES-500 Tablet contains Naproxen 500 mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and inflammation.

Uses:

• Relief from mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, and menstrual cramps

• Management of joint pain in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout

• Reduction of inflammation and swelling caused by injury or musculoskeletal disorders

• Pain relief after surgery or trauma

• Management of tendonitis and bursitis

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, heartburn, indigestion, stomach pain, dizziness, and headache. It can sometimes cause constipation, diarrhea, or gas. Serious side effects, though rare, include stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing), liver problems (yellowing of skin/eyes), kidney issues (reduced urine output), and increased blood pressure.

Prolonged use or high doses increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, especially in patients with pre-existing heart conditions. It should be taken after meals to reduce stomach irritation, and avoided in individuals with active ulcers, severe liver/kidney disease, or known NSAID allergy. Always use under medical supervision to minimize risks and ensure safe pain relief.
