Paracip 500 by Cipla contains paracetamol (acetaminophen), a common medicine used to relieve pain and reduce fever. It is generally safe when used as directed.

Uses:

• Relieves mild to moderate pain like headache, toothache, muscle pain, and joint pain

• Helps manage fever due to colds, flu, or infections

• Often used for post-vaccination fever or period pain

• Also used for pain in arthritis (not for inflammation)

It starts working within 30 to 60 minutes and provides relief for 4 to 6 hours.

Side Effects:
Paracip 500 is usually well tolerated, but side effects may occur if overdosed or used for a long time.

• Common (rarely occur):

  • Nausea

  • Stomach upset

  • Rash or skin allergy

• Serious (usually with overdose or long-term use):

  • Liver damage (especially if taken with alcohol)
