Description

PCM 125 Suspension by Intas contains Paracetamol (125 mg per 5 ml), a commonly used analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It is mainly prescribed for infants and young children to treat fever, headaches, toothaches, common cold, sore throat, ear pain, and mild to moderate body pain.

Uses:

• Reduces fever in infants and children

• Relieves mild to moderate pain

• Used in cases of post-vaccination fever

• Eases pain due to teething, cold, or flu symptoms

It starts working within 30 to 60 minutes and provides relief for 4 to 6 hours. It is safe when used in the correct dose based on the child’s weight and age.

Side Effects:

Paracetamol is usually well-tolerated in children, but in rare cases, side effects may include:

• Nausea or vomiting

• Stomach upset

• Rash or skin allergy

• Liver damage (in case of overdose or long-term use)

• Loss of appetite
