Rantodac 150 Tablet contains Ranitidine (150 mg), a medication that reduces stomach acid production by blocking histamine (H2) receptors in the stomach lining. It is commonly used to manage conditions caused by excessive acid production and to promote healing of acid-related damage in the digestive tract.

Uses:

• Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers by reducing acid secretion and aiding healing.

• Management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and acid reflux, helping relieve burning sensation and heartburn.

• Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (excessive acid production in the stomach).

• Relief from acid indigestion, sour stomach, and hyperacidity.

• Prevention of acid-related damage to the esophagus and stomach in high-risk patients.

Side Effects:

Rantodac 150 is generally well-tolerated, but some side effects may occur, including:

• Common: Headache, dizziness, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, stomach pain.

• Occasional: Fatigue, skin rash, mild abdominal discomfort.

• Rare but serious: Liver dysfunction, confusion (especially in elderly patients), allergic reactions, and low platelet count.

Precautions:
