Siloright 8 mg Capsule contains Silodosin, an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker. It is primarily prescribed for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), a condition where the prostate gland becomes enlarged and causes urinary problems in men. The medicine works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow and reducing symptoms such as difficulty in starting urination, weak stream, frequent urge to urinate (especially at night), and a feeling of incomplete bladder emptying. It helps improve quality of life by relieving urinary obstruction but does not shrink the prostate size.

Side Effects
Common side effects include:

• Dizziness or light-headedness, especially when standing up quickly, due to a sudden drop in blood pressure.

• Retrograde ejaculation (semen flows backward into the bladder during ejaculation instead of coming out normally).

• Diarrhea, nasal congestion, headache, or fatigue in some patients.

• Nasal or throat irritation and mild digestive discomfort may also occur.

In rare cases, allergic reactions like rash, itching, or swelling may appear. If dizziness is severe or symptoms persist, medical attention should be sought.
