Uses:
Tonoderm Ointment is a combination medication used for treating various skin infections that involve fungi, bacteria, and inflammation. It typically contains ingredients like Clobetasol Propionate (steroid) to reduce redness, itching, and swelling; Ketoconazole and Tolnaftate (antifungals) to stop fungal growth; Clioquinol (antimicrobial) to fight infection-causing organisms; and Neomycin (antibiotic) to prevent or treat bacterial infections.
It is commonly prescribed for:
Fungal infections like ringworm (tinea)
Inflamed eczema or dermatitis
Seborrheic dermatitis
Skin conditions with mixed bacterial and fungal involvement
Itchy, red, or inflamed lesions due to infection
