Description
Uses of Udivin 300
Udivin 300 contains Ursodeoxycholic Acid (UDCA) 300 mg, a bile acid used to improve liver function and treat certain gallbladder and liver disorders. It is commonly prescribed for the dissolution of small cholesterol gallstones in patients who cannot undergo surgery, and for treating primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), a chronic liver disease. It helps protect liver cells, improve bile flow, and reduce the toxic effects of bile acids on the liver. Udivin 300 is also used in certain cases of fatty liver, drug-induced liver injury, and other cholestatic liver diseases.
Side Effects of Udivin 300
Most people tolerate Udivin 300 well, but some may experience mild to moderate side effects. Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, and constipation. Less commonly, it may cause allergic skin reactions such as rash or itching. In rare cases, it can lead to calcification of gallstones or worsening of certain liver conditions. If you notice severe abdominal pain, yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), or unusual fatigue, medical attention should be sought promptly. Always take the medicine as directed by your doctor and avoid self-medication.
