Description
Vertihist 16 Tablet contains Betahistine 16 mg, which is an antivertigo medicine used to manage balance disorders associated with the inner ear. It works by improving blood flow in the inner ear and reducing the pressure caused by excess fluid, thereby relieving dizziness and related symptoms.
Uses:
Treatment of MΓ©niΓ¨reβs disease, a condition characterized by recurrent vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and a feeling of fullness in the ear
Relief from vertigo (spinning sensation) caused by inner ear problems
Management of tinnitus and associated hearing difficulties
Helps reduce the frequency and intensity of vertigo attacks
Improves overall balance and stability in patients with inner ear disorders
Side Effects:
Vertihist 16 is generally well tolerated, but some people may experience:
Common: Nausea, indigestion, stomach upset, bloating
Occasional: Headache, dizziness, drowsiness, mild skin rash
Rare but serious: Allergic reactions (swelling of face/lips, difficulty breathing), severe stomach pain, worsening of peptic ulcer symptoms
Precautions:
