Voglimet GM2 Forte Tablet is a combination medicine containing Voglibose, Metformin, and Glimepiride. It is prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. The medicine helps control high blood sugar levels by reducing glucose absorption from the intestines, improving insulin sensitivity, and stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin. Proper blood sugar control helps prevent diabetes-related complications like kidney damage, nerve problems, and eye issues. It is usually given along with a healthy diet and regular exercise.

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, and flatulence. Some people may experience low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) symptoms such as sweating, dizziness, hunger, and weakness, especially if meals are skipped. Rarely, it can cause allergic reactions, severe gastrointestinal discomfort, or lactic acidosis (with Metformin). Long-term use may sometimes lead to vitamin B12 deficiency. If severe stomach pain, persistent vomiting, breathing difficulty, or unusual fatigue occurs, medical attention should be sought immediately.
