Description
ADOC SP Tablet is a combination medicine that typically contains Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, and Serratiopeptidase. It is mainly used for pain relief, reducing inflammation, and improving swelling. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and swelling by blocking prostaglandin production. Paracetamol works as an analgesic and antipyretic, lowering pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that helps break down abnormal proteins at inflammation sites, reducing swelling and improving healing.
Uses:
Joint pain and stiffness in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis
Muscle pain, back pain, and sports injuries
Swelling and pain after surgery or injury
Toothache and post-dental surgery pain
Relief from fever with body aches
Side Effects:
Common: Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhea
Occasional: Dizziness, headache, mild skin rash
Serious but rare: Stomach ulcers or bleeding, liver damage (especially with overdose), kidney problems, severe allergic reactions (facial swelling, breathing difficulty)
Serratiopeptidase may rarely cause gastrointestinal discomfort or changes in blood clotting
It should be taken after meals to reduce stomach irritation and only for the duration prescribed. Long-term or excessive use may increase the risk of serious side effects, so medical supervision is essential.
