Almox 250 mg Capsule contains Amoxicillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin-type antibiotic. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections by stopping the growth of bacteria. Common conditions treated include respiratory tract infections (such as bronchitis, pneumonia), ear, nose, and throat infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and certain dental infections. It is also prescribed for gastrointestinal infections like typhoid fever and for preventing bacterial infections after surgery or dental procedures. Almox works only against bacterial infections and is ineffective for viral illnesses like the common cold or flu.

Side Effects of Almox 250 mg Capsule
Like all medicines, Almox may cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and skin rash. Some people may experience dizziness, headache, or changes in taste. Rare but serious reactions include severe allergic responses such as swelling of the face, lips, or throat, difficulty breathing, and widespread skin rash. Long-term or repeated use may lead to secondary infections such as oral or vaginal yeast infections.
