Austospas is a prescription antispasmodicβantifoaming medication commonly used to manage:
- Abdominal cramps, pain, bloating, and gas due to gastrointestinal disorders
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) symptoms, by relaxing gut muscles and easing gas-related discomfort (1mg)

- Dicyclomine relaxes smooth muscles in the gastrointestinal tract to relieve spasms.
- Simethicone reduces gas bubbles, allowing easier passage of gas and reducing bloating (TrueMeds, 1mg)

Many patients tolerate Austospas well, but some may experience mild to moderate effects, which often improve as the body adjusts:
- Nausea, vomiting
- Blurred vision or other vision disturbances
