Description
Uses:
Azax 100 Suspension contains Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic used primarily to treat bacterial infections in children. It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections (like bronchitis and pneumonia), ear infections, throat infections (such as tonsillitis or pharyngitis), and certain skin infections. It is also effective against some types of gastrointestinal infections caused by bacteria. Azax 100 works by stopping the growth of bacteria, helping the bodyβs immune system fight the infection. It is not effective against viral infections like the common cold or flu.
Side Effects:
Most children tolerate Azax 100 well, but some may experience side effects. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhea. These are usually mild and temporary. In some cases, children may develop a mild skin rash or headache. Serious side effects are rare but can include allergic reactions such as swelling of the face, lips, or throat, difficulty breathing, or severe skin rashes. Liver function disturbances or jaundice are also rare but possible. If the child experiences persistent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, or signs of allergic reaction, medical attention should be sought immediately. Always use this medicine under medical supervision and complete the prescribed course, even if symptoms improve early
