Azicip 500 (by Cipla) contains Azithromycin 500 mg, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria, helping the body recover from infection.
Doctors usually prescribe it once daily for 3 to 5 days, depending on the type of infection. It should be taken on an empty stomach, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after food, with plenty of water.
