Description

Bilacip-M Tablet is a combination medication commonly used to manage allergic conditions, particularly allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, nasal congestion) and other seasonal allergies. It contains Bilastine (an antihistamine) and Montelukast (a leukotriene receptor antagonist).

Uses:
Bilacip-M helps relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria (hives). It is also effective in managing symptoms like nasal blockage, itching, and respiratory discomfort caused by allergens such as dust, pollen, or pet dander. Montelukast in this combination also supports mild asthma symptoms by reducing inflammation in the airways.

Side Effects:
Most side effects are mild and temporary. Common ones include:

• Drowsiness or fatigue

• Headache

• Stomach pain or indigestion

• Dry mouth

• Nausea

Less common but serious side effects may include:

• Mood changes (agitation, anxiety, depression)

• Sleep disturbances

• Allergic reactions like skin rash, swelling, or breathing difficulty (rare)

It is generally taken once daily, preferably in the evening. Avoid alcohol and other sedatives during use. Do not use without medical advice, especially if you have liver disease, are pregnant, or breastfeeding. Always follow the prescribed dosage and never stop abruptly without consulting a doctor.
