Bilaford 40 Tablet contains Bilastine, a non-sedating antihistamine used for the relief of allergic conditions. It is effective in treating seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, which causes symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, watery eyes, and throat irritation. It is also prescribed for chronic idiopathic urticaria (persistent hives) to reduce itching, redness, and swelling of the skin. Bilastine works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance in the body responsible for allergic reactions, without usually causing drowsiness.

Side Effects of Bilaford 40 Tablet
When used in the recommended dose, side effects are generally mild and temporary. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, nausea, and fatigue. Some individuals may experience dry mouth or an increased heart rate. Rarely, allergic reactions like rash, swelling of the face or throat, and breathing difficulty may occur. In unusual cases, sleep disturbances or palpitations can be seen. People with kidney problems or those taking other medications should consult a doctor before use to avoid possible interactions.
