Description

Bisonol 2.5 Tablet contains Bisoprolol, a beta-blocker used to manage heart-related conditions by reducing the heart rate and workload, thereby lowering blood pressure and improving heart function. It works by blocking certain receptors (beta-1 adrenergic receptors) in the heart, leading to decreased heart rate and reduced strain on the heart muscles.

Uses:

• Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) to reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes

• Management of chronic heart failure by improving heart efficiency and reducing symptoms like fatigue and breathlessness

• Control of angina pectoris (chest pain) by improving blood and oxygen supply to the heart

• Prevention of complications in patients with heart disease, including arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat)

• Supportive treatment post-heart attack to improve long-term heart function

Side Effects:
Bisonol 2.5 may cause:

• Common: Tiredness, dizziness, headache, slow heartbeat, cold hands and feet

• Occasional: Nausea, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, sleep disturbances

• Rare but serious: Shortness of breath, severe bradycardia (very slow heart rate), worsening of heart failure, allergic skin reactions

Precautions:
