Common uses include urinary tract infections (UTIs), respiratory tract infections, gastrointestinal infections like typhoid and diarrhea, skin infections, bone and joint infections, and certain types of sexually transmitted diseases. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria, making it effective against both Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria.

Common side effects of Ceflox 500 include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, dizziness, and a bitter taste in the mouth. Some patients may experience restlessness, insomnia, or headache. Taking the medication with food can reduce stomach-related discomfort.
