Description
Ceflox Eye Drop contains ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria and is commonly prescribed for bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye), corneal ulcers, and other external eye infections. The drops are effective against a wide range of bacteria and are usually applied directly into the eye, typically 2β4 times a day depending on the severity and doctor’s advice.
To use, the dropper should not touch the eye or any surface to prevent contamination. Improvement is usually seen within a few days, but it’s essential to complete the full course to avoid resistance or recurrence.
Side effects of Ceflox Eye Drop are generally mild and temporary. Common ones include eye irritation, burning or stinging, redness, blurred vision, or a bitter taste in the mouth. Rare but serious side effects may include eye pain, swelling, sensitivity to light, or signs of an allergic reaction like rash, itching, or swelling of the face.
