Uses of Dapaford 5 Tablet
Dapaford 5 Tablet contains Dapagliflozin, an antidiabetic medicine belonging to the SGLT2 inhibitor class. It is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus by lowering blood sugar levels through increased glucose excretion in urine. It may also be prescribed to reduce the risk of hospitalization for heart failure in patients with type 2 diabetes and established cardiovascular disease. In addition, it can be used in chronic heart failure and chronic kidney disease to improve symptoms and slow disease progression. It works best when combined with proper diet and regular exercise.
Side Effects of Dapaford 5 Tablet
Most side effects are mild and temporary. Common ones include urinary tract infections, increased urination, genital fungal infections, thirst, and nasal congestion. Some individuals may experience dizziness, low blood sugar (especially if used with other antidiabetic drugs), or dehydration.
