Debistal GM 1 Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine containing Glimepiride, Metformin, and Pioglitazone. It is used to control high blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. By combining these three medicines, it works through multiple mechanisms: Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, Metformin decreases glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity, and Pioglitazone enhances the body’s response to insulin. It helps in achieving better blood sugar control, reducing the risk of diabetes-related complications like kidney damage, nerve problems, and vision issues, along with supporting overall metabolic health when combined with proper diet and exercise.

Side Effects of Debistal GM 1 Tablet
Common side effects include low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, weight gain, swelling of hands or feet, and headache. Some individuals may experience dizziness, muscle pain, or fatigue. Rare but serious side effects include lactic acidosis (a medical emergency), liver dysfunction, heart failure symptoms (like shortness of breath or sudden weight gain), and allergic reactions such as rash or swelling.
