Description
Uses of Diclowin Plus Tablet
Diclowin Plus Tablet is a combination medicine that usually contains Diclofenac Potassium (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) and Paracetamol. It is primarily used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation in conditions such as muscle pain, joint pain, back pain, dental pain, headache, sports injuries, arthritis, sprains, and post-surgical pain. Paracetamol helps lower fever and enhances the pain-relieving effect of Diclofenac. This medicine works by blocking the production of certain chemicals (prostaglandins) that cause pain, swelling, and fever. It provides quick relief, improving mobility and comfort in patients suffering from painful conditions.
Side Effects of Diclowin Plus Tablet
Some common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhea, and dizziness. In some cases, it may cause heartburn, bloating, or loss of appetite. Rarely, allergic reactions like skin rash, itching, or swelling can occur. Long-term or excessive use may increase the risk of stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver damage, or kidney problems. It may also raise blood pressure or affect heart health in sensitive individuals. This medicine should be taken exactly as prescribed, preferably after food, to reduce stomach irritation.
