Common uses include respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia and bronchitis, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and sexually transmitted infections like chlamydia. It is also used in acne management, certain dental infections, and in malaria prevention when traveling to high-risk areas. Additionally, doctors may prescribe it for infections caused by ticks, lice, or mites, such as scrub typhus, spotted fever, and relapsing fever. Its broad-spectrum action makes it effective against a wide range of bacteria and atypical organisms.

Side Effects of Doxin 100 Capsule

Like any medication, Doxin 100 Capsule may cause side effects. Common ones include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhea. Some people may experience heartburn or irritation in the esophagus if taken without enough water. Long-term use can sometimes lead to oral or vaginal fungal infections due to imbalance of normal flora. Rare but serious effects include severe headache, blurred vision, skin rashes, allergic reactions, and photosensitivity, where the skin becomes overly sensitive to sunlight.
