Uses:
Duphil-M Tablet is generally prescribed for the treatment of allergic conditions and respiratory problems. It contains Montelukast (an anti-leukotriene) and Levocetirizine (an antihistamine). The combination helps in relieving symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, nasal congestion, watery eyes, and breathing difficulty. It is commonly used in:

• Allergic rhinitis (seasonal or perennial)

• Asthma (as maintenance therapy)

• Chronic urticaria (skin allergies)

• Prevention of allergy-induced breathing problems

Montelukast works by blocking leukotrienes, substances that cause airway inflammation and narrowing, while Levocetirizine reduces histamine-related symptoms like itching and swelling.

Side Effects:
Most people tolerate Duphil-M well, but some may experience:

• Headache

• Drowsiness or dizziness

• Stomach pain, nausea, or diarrhea

• Dry mouth

• Tiredness or weakness

• Skin rash or itching

Rarely, mood changes, anxiety, or sleep disturbances can occur. If severe allergic reactions, palpitations, or unusual behavior changes are noticed, medical attention should be sought immediately.
