INTAS FCN 200 tablet contains fluconazole 200 mg, an antifungal medicine used to treat and prevent fungal infections. It works by inhibiting the growth of fungi, stopping the production of a substance needed for their cell membranes. Common uses include treatment of vaginal yeast infections, oral thrush, cryptococcal meningitis, fungal infections of the skin, nails, urinary tract, and other internal organs. It may also be prescribed for preventing fungal infections in people with weakened immune systems, such as those undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or organ transplants. The medicine is usually taken orally with or without food, as directed by a doctor, and the duration depends on the type and severity of infection.

Possible side effects can range from mild to serious. Common side effects include headache, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, dizziness, and changes in taste.
