Description
Uses of Flumet 200 Tablet
Flumet 200 Tablet contains Fluconazole, an antifungal medicine used to treat and prevent fungal infections. It is effective against infections caused by Candida, Cryptococcus, and other susceptible fungi. Common uses include treatment of vaginal yeast infections, oral thrush, esophageal candidiasis, fungal infections of the skin, nails, and systemic fungal infections. It is also used in people with weakened immune systems to prevent fungal infections, such as those undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or organ transplantation. Fluconazole works by stopping the growth of the fungus, thereby controlling the infection.
