Description

Globet-GM Ointment 20gm is a combination topical medication containing Clobetasol Propionate, Gentamicin, and Miconazole. It is used for the treatment of skin conditions caused by bacterial and fungal infections, often accompanied by inflammation and itching.

• Clobetasol Propionate is a strong corticosteroid that reduces redness, swelling, and itching.

• Gentamicin is an antibiotic that fights bacteria on the skin.

• Miconazole is an antifungal agent that kills fungi and prevents their growth.

Uses:

• Fungal skin infections (ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch)

• Bacterial skin infections

• Mixed infections involving both fungi and bacteria

• Inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis with secondary infection

Side Effects:
Most side effects are mild and temporary. Common ones include skin irritation, burning sensation, redness, or dryness at the application site. Long-term or excessive use can cause thinning of the skin, stretch marks, or skin discoloration. Rarely, allergic reactions such as rash, swelling, or severe itching may occur. In case of accidental contact with eyes, it may cause irritation and should be rinsed with water immediately. This medicine should be used only on the affected area, in the dose and duration prescribed by a doctor.
