Description
Glycimet-PG1 is commonly prescribed to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. It contains two active ingredients: Metformin and Pioglitazone. Metformin helps lower blood sugar by improving insulin sensitivity and reducing glucose production in the liver. Pioglitazone also increases insulin sensitivity, helping the body use insulin more effectively to control blood sugar levels. Together, these help in maintaining better blood glucose control in diabetic patients.
