INTACOXIA 60 Tablet by Intas contains Etoricoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor classified as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is primarily used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, and postoperative pain. It works by blocking the COX-2 enzyme, which is responsible for the production of prostaglandins that cause pain, swelling, and inflammation.

Uses:

• Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis pain relief

• Ankylosing Spondylitis

• Acute Gouty Arthritis

• Postoperative dental or orthopedic pain

• Chronic musculoskeletal pain

It offers the advantage of pain relief with less gastric irritation compared to traditional NSAIDs because it targets COX-2 more selectively.
